Hey y'all, Liz Chapman here, CCS parent reporting back after another day of observing the bargaining between the Teachers Union and the district. Something that I appreciated today as not only a parent but also a taxpayer is that there was a moment when everybody was reminded of the levy promises that were made in the fall of 2023 and how those do play a role in the bargaining process. So, again, as a parent and as the co-chair of BoardWatch, where we try to hold the Board of Education accountable to their levy promises, among other things, I appreciated that we were reminded of the levy promises and that those promises were made to the community when we voted for that levy. So that was my biggest takeaway from today.
